Day 4 Houghton, Upper Pennisula, Michigan...updated with pictures

We are sitting in an internet cafe in Houghton with our morning coffee and bagel. We had a long drive yesterday...today's promises to be less. 1200 km cum.
We saw a deer standing in the ditch alongside the road this morning and osprey nests on hydro towers yesterday.
There is a business opportunity for Tim Horton's in northern Ontario....we were planning to stop at one for our morning coffee yesterday but there weren't any from Blind River to the Soo.
At the riverside park in the Soo yesterday, E found a wallet. After a discussion with 2 young men (Mormon missonaries), we agreed with to their offer to return it to the owner who was a local resident, so, the wallet was left in the hands of God....
I saw 5 young Mennonites stooking sheaves of grain yesterday. it brought back memories of my Dad doing the same thing until we bought a combine.
the ride has been good...lots of scenery.
we plan to be  near to Wisconsin tonight.
regards to all,
A
